Connections focused on the designing then physical creation of a seating space designed for the Ball State Architecture building. The thesis was intended to mimic traditional design practices where the actual schematic design is but a small part of the entire process. The entire project was completed within the time frame of a semester by one of my peers and myself. The raw material of the project was bought unfinished and was prepped prior to the gluing and construction of the finger-jointed system used throughout the project. The final installation transformed and existing cold space, into something much warmer and inviting.
